Effective April 1st, 2024 Schier represents and warrants that the Sprout product (“Product”) will be free from any and all defects in material and workmanship at the time in which the Product was manufactured for a period of two (2) years and will, at its option, agree to repair, replace, or supply credit to the original purchaser. The original purchaser will be required to provide their product’s serial number at the time of warranty claim.

What is covered

This two-year warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in a Product installed for residential use. The materials covered include internal Sprout parts connected to the “filter,” which includes the solids basket, flow diverter and springs.

What is not covered

The “plumbing parts,” which includes the tailpiece, dishwasher tailpiece and nuts, as well as rubber gaskets, are not covered by warranty. 

This warranty expressly excludes losses or damages or the inability to operate your Product resulting from conditions beyond the manufacturer’s control, including accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, failure to install, maintain, or assemble the Product in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or local plumbing codes.

This warranty does not apply to a Product  installed in a non-residential application.

Our warranty is void if the product is not installed properly per the product installation instructions. 

Lifetime guaranteed parts

The stainless steel basin and plastic sleeve are both warrantied for the lifetime of the system in which the Product was originally installed. This includes the green outer sleeve visible underneath your sink, and the stainless steel part lowered into your drain. This does not cover normal wear and tear to these parts.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy, and acceptance of this exclusive remedy is a condition of the purchase of this Product. In no event shall Schier be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney fees, expenses, losses or delays claimed to be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect in any products including, but not limited to, any claims for loss of profits, transportation, removal and installation charges. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or conditions, written or oral, expressed or implied.
